I have been gambling online or at land based gambling halls for a lot of years. I have been taught, the craving can take a hold of you and you won’t even notice it till you are bankrupt. Especially if you are on a run. I have gone through many tens of thousands of dollars in just a short period of time and even today, I still go a bit too far. It feels like you are just enjoying yourself up until you decide to contemplate your loss and the blame settles in, and then you continue advising yourself "I might be able to earn the money back" again and again. It doesn’t work. Then you get queasy in your stomach and the more you attempt the more rapidly you relinquish.
When you find that you are in the black, Remain on the UP! When you start to lose, don’t tell yourself, "well just one more" over and over again, believe me, this technique barely ever functions. Say you plan on wagering on one armed bandits, have an amount set aside ahead of beginning your play. DO NOT go over this limit, no matter how appealing. If you happen to profit, put that in a separate pot. Do not bet your earnings regardless of what happens. Once you have played through your initial predetermined range, stop. Back off, regardless if it is on the internet or in a land based gambling den, do not stick around. Always keep in mind, there will be other days, other times. Obviously, this technique is able to work for any game that you wager on, be it bingo, poker, electronic poker, keno, chemin de fer or any other casino game.
Remember, gambling should be delightful not burdensome, sickening work! If you aren’t enjoying yourself, you don’t belong at the casinos. If you cannot afford the loss, do not even begin.
