As an avid player, I have been taught a few important lessons while playing over the the last couple of years. It does not matter if you like to wagering at the land based’ type or the many internet casinos. Here are my all important protocols of gaming, many of which might be judged common sense, but if followed they will help you go a long way to leaving with a grin on your face.
Rule 1: Go into a casino with a predetermined sum that you are ready and can afford to spend – How much would it cost for a night out on food, cocktails, cover charges and tips? This is a good sum to use.
Rule two: Do not carry your debit card with you – or any means of getting money out. Don’t worry about cash for the taxi if you throw away all of it; most taxi operators, particularly the ones booked through casinos, will drive you to your apartment and are more than happy to wait for the cash when you get back.
Rule three: Stay to your predetermined threshold. I constantly think of what I would love to purchase if I succeed. The previous time I went, I decided I would quite love to purchase a new Media Player which cost about $400, so that was my upper cap. As soon as I reached this figure, I walked away. Just quit. Even if Mystic Megan herself gives you the upcoming number for the roulette wheel, pay no attention to her and walk away. Depart safe in the understanding that you will be proceeding into the mall and buying a great brand-new toy!
Rule 4: Enjoy yourself. When you are "buzzing" you usually will succeed. It is a certainty. I don’t understand the reason why, but it clearly is. Once it becomes a job, or you are simply playing to earn cash you have lost, you will fritter away even more. When you’re profiting, experiencing a great time with your buddies, or your girlfriend, you usually will profit even more.
